First Week Progress (in pics)

Our lean mean green latrine, or TP TP, as we sometimes call it, was our first real build project on the land. Mike even fashioned a tarp door that opens and closes!

Along with the great wall tent we borrowed from our friend Brian came this wood stove. For the hearth underneath, we gathered some rocks from a nearby scree pile on some NF land and Mike used silt from the land to mortar them together.

Our first set of homegrown EM signs :)

We invited some friends up this past weekend for a land warming visit and had a great time showing folks around the land. Our lovely friends Robert, Kim and their son Greyson even brought us the best gift ever: a solar shower!

Hang time with some fam and friends at our west end property boundary, which borders National Forest.

We’ve named this meadow on the land Morning Sun Meadow, which is both an affectionate nod to our friends at Morning Sun Practice Center in New Hampshire, and also where the morning sun first lights up the land at Empty Mountain.
