Here’s A Thing That Had To Happen

So, in order to buy land we will need to sell our house here in Missoula, which we bought in 2004, when we were 25-years-old. And in order to sell our house we needed to hook up to the city sewer system - we’ve been on septic. A few years ago we were informed by the city that a contingency in our being able to sell our house would require that we hook into the city sewer. So that’s what we did. The work just finished up a few days ago. It took every bit of our savings to pay for it (stressful!) but we got it done, which puts us one small step closer to what we’re looking to do here with starting Empty Mountain.

Gratitude and stress are not mutually exclusive feeling states - I am finding for myself that I have both on board simultaneously a good portion of the time these days. Gratitude for what is. Stress in regards to what comes next.
